Hey all,
I’m wrapping up the Audible Original podcast series I’ve mentioned before. I’ve been working on it for over a year. I’m really looking forward to sharing the details of it, after its been officially announced.
Meanwhile, I’m able to share news of a project on my horizon. I’m going to write a book about the Idaho college murders, with best-selling novelist James Patterson.
The story of Bryan Kohberger is as fascinating as it is chilling. With all the threads of a modern-day In Cold Blood. You have a small town unused to locking its doors. You have a tight-knit group of popular, seemingly happy-go-lucky good-looking college kids. And you have an alleged murderer, who is sphinx-like and a student of crime. He knows something we don’t. What is it?
How could any investigative reporter not want to unspool this deeply unsettling, horrific mystery while at the same time being careful to not glorify the gruesome crime.
It’s also going to be a fascinating experience working closely with James Patterson.
I’ll be chatting with you as I report.
You can read news of the book here.
Meanwhile, yes, standby for more Epstein news. Happy Weekend!

What an exciting opportunity to work with James Patterson! Look forward to reading your book.💖
My father (an English teacher) introduced me to James Patterson books. He love them. He has since passed away, but this brought back memories of our many titillating discussions over phone and coffee, of hidden plots lines and mystery writing in general. My Dad would invariably finish the book before I did. It was not easy to keep him from revealing the ending before I got to it lol. Wonderful news, I will definitely be looking forward to reading your collaboration 😁
